Reports to Maintenance Manager

Full Time: Non Exempt (Hourly)

The Maintenance Tech/Housekeeper/Driver will assist in both Maintenance and Housekeeping departments to ensure that the community is clean and safe. The Technician will also provide weekly transportation for the elders.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in maintaining scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on community wide equipment and areas of the building
  • Repairs and maintains the Elder’s apartments, staff offices and all areas of the facility and grounds. This includes landscaping and housekeeping as assigned
  • Performs general maintenance as assigned by supervisor
  • Identifies and reports areas needing repair and/or maintenance
  • Documents in all required logs in a neat, organized and timely manner
  • Responds to work orders as assigned
  • Works with Lead Housekeeper to clean all assigned areas, assist with laundry, trash disposal and room turnover
  • Provide weekly transportation as assigned by supervisor
  • Observes and adheres to all infection control procedures

Required skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some experience with maintenance and/or housekeeping
  • Must be personable and like interacting with elders
  • Organized and ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Flexible schedule, may include weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR, Fingerprint Clearance and pass a Drug Screen
