St. Luke’s Hosts Successful 98th Baile

The 98th Baile de las Flores was held April 8, 2017, at the Mountain Oyster Club. This festive fundraiser is organized and hosted by the St. Luke’s Board of Visitors Committee and has been an annual event since 1919.

Beginning in 1987, the Baile has featured local artists who donate original paintings for a raffle. This year, Linda Dobkin contributed her oil painting, “Generations Past,” which was won by Larry Adamson at the drawing during the Baile.

Guests enjoyed cocktails in the beautiful courtyard while being entertained by western music played by DJ, Charles Heasley. They also participated in a game to win bottles of wine as well as bid on Silent and Live Auction items.  Guests were treated to the art currently on display during a delicious dinner inside the Club.

This year’s Baile raised over $100,000.00 for the Elders currently living at St. Luke’s Home.

Thank you to all our wonderful 2017 Baile Donors
